Nanny’s House is located in the warm and quiet town of Acton, Massachusetts, conveniently located at the intersection of routes 2 and 111. Nanny’s serves all the surrounding towns in the greater Boston Area, perfect for the commuter.
We spend a great deal of time on the Nanny’s House premises, but we also feel that a greater exploration of the world around us is a crucial element to the development of the children for whom we care.
Leaving the premises and “getting out in the world” is an integral part of the program at Nanny’s House. These outings are frequent and may be planned for small groups or the group as a whole. They provide stimulation, as well as educational experiences for the children. The outings include trips to local businesses, playgrounds, museums, orchards, parks, restaurants, fire stations and a nearby beach. General permission to leave the premises must be signed by the parents on an annual basis.
